Job description

Senior Artworker
£30,700-£38,400 + benefits
Street, Somerset

Expert shoemakers for almost 200 years and we’re still going strong, evolving as a brand and as a business. Right now, we’re building the best in-house creative team we can. Across Brand, across Product Design, across Retail, across the board. A hotbed of creativity, innovation and craft. Where the ingenious will create the new icons. Where together, we will make lasting impressions: on our industry and on your career.

The role

We are building a powerful in-house creative agency at the heart of the Clarks business and at the heart of this new agency is our Creative team. Joining us as Senior Artworker, you’ll make sure that all our print and digital assets are in line with creative execution and reflect the approved original design concept consistently. Meticulous when it comes to quality, it’ll be down to you to make sure that artwork is efficiently produced across our suite of adults marketing communications, touchpoints and channels by creating, briefing and directing your team of internal artworkers, as well as external production groups. Indeed, your artwork team will be focused, engaged and effective, meeting strict deadlines with ease. We’d also like you to retouch and colour correct images. It’s a big responsibility – and a hugely exciting opportunity.

Person specification

A bit about you

You’re an experienced Artworker looking for a step up. Creatively driven, you’re also commercially switched on and understand exactly how to translate complex creative concepts into high quality and consistent artwork executions. You’ll know how to manage creative people and successful creative processes, too as an inspirational leader. You’ll have a knowledge of the creative development process and a thorough understanding of print and digital processes. We also need you to be able to produce photo retouching to a high standard.

Benefits

Life with us

Every 60 seconds, 105 pairs of Clarks shoes are sold globally. That makes us a £1.6 billion business and a truly worldwide brand. We now have some 15,000 employees across 75 different countries – everywhere from Europe to the Americas. Despite being the world’s biggest everyday footwear brand (by sale volume), we’re still owned by the Clarks family and based in Street, Somerset – where the Clarks business began. Street is the nerve centre of our business, driving growth and the whole Clarks success story.

The benefits

As well as a rewarding career, development opportunities and a competitive salary, you’ll also enjoy a generous holiday allowance and the opportunity to join the company pension scheme.
